• Flow: Moderate; enough to keep surface clean without blasting tissue.

  • Alkalinity: 8–9.5 dKH

  • Calcium: 400–450 ppm

  • Magnesium: 1250–1350 ppm

  • Nitrate: 5–15 ppm

  • Phosphate: 0.03–0.08 ppm

• Feeding: Photosynthetic; will accept fine particulate foods like reef roids, but not essential.

• Placement: Lower rockwork or shaded areas; encrusting growth will cover rock and frag plugs.

• Aggression: Low; generally peaceful and won’t sting neighbors.

• Difficulty: Easy–moderate; hardy coral, great for beginners and nano tanks.
