• Lighting: Low–moderate (50–100 PAR); prefers softer, indirect light. Too much light can cause bleaching.

• Flow: Low–moderate; gentle movement, avoid strong direct flow.

• Water Parameters:

  • Temp: 76–80°F

  • Salinity: 1.025–1.026

  • Alkalinity: 8–9.5 dKH

  • Calcium: 400–450 ppm

  • Magnesium: 1250–1350 ppm

  • Nitrate: 5–15 ppm

  • Phosphate: 0.03–0.08 ppm

• Feeding: Photosynthetic; will accept small meaty foods (mysis, brine, pellet, reef roids). Target feeding helps growth and coloration.

• Placement: Lower rockwork or sandbed; prefers lower light and gentler conditions than most corals.

• Aggression: Low; generally peaceful, but can overgrow space when thriving.

• Difficulty: Moderate; more sensitive than Florida Ricordea, can be prone to “melting” if stressed.
